ChargeUp Europe welcomes GreenWay as Full Industry Member

ChargeUp Europe is delighted to announce its first new member since the recent launch of the new European electric vehicle charging infrastructure industry alliance.

ChargeUp Europe founding members Allego, ChargePoint and EVBox have been joined by GreenWay, one of the driving forces behind the uptake of electric mobility in Central and Eastern Europe.

Founded in Slovakia in 2011, GreenWay works as an electric mobility provider (EMP) and Charging Point Operator (CPO), responsible for both the physical infrastructure of charging stations, as well as drivers’ e-mobility experience. GreenWay’s operations across the region are growing rapidly. It is building and operating a comprehensive, nationwide electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Poland and Slovakia, consisting of its own charging points as well as chargers of a large number of business partners.

Commenting on the announcement, Peter Badík, Managing Partner, GreenWay said:

“We are very happy to be joining ChargeUp Europe. Greenway’s vision and our consumer centric approach are perfectly aligned with the foundational values of the alliance. We look forward to working together as a sector at this crucial time to ensure a smart and effective rollout of EV charging infrastructure across the whole of Europe and CEE in particular.”
